หลายคนอาจคิดว่า ในยุคที่เรามี Claude ที่สั่งทีเดียวแล้วทำอะไรให้ก็ได้ โดยเฉพาะ Claude Cowork ที่เราไม่ต้องคิด flow ให้ชัดเจนเหมือน n8n แล้วแบบนี้ n8n จะตายไหม? คำตอบในมุมคนทำงานจริงคือ ไม่ตาย — และที่เด็ดกว่านั้นคือ พอจับสองตัวนี้มาคุยกันได้ พลังมันเพิ่มขึ้นมหาศาลเลยค่ะ (สรุปจากคลิปของช่อง Lin Davoy)

n8n กับ Claude เก่งกันคนละแบบ

ก่อนอื่นต้องเข้าใจก่อนว่า Claude มี 3 โหมดคือ Chat, Cowork และ Code ส่วน n8n เป็นเครื่องมือ automation แบบ flow ที่ define ไว้ชัดเจน ข้อดีของ n8n คือถ้าเรา build flow จบแล้ว รันกี่รอบก็ได้ผลลัพธ์เดิมเสมอ มันจึง reliable กว่าการใช้ Claude ที่เป็น generative AI ซึ่งผลลัพธ์อาจแกว่งได้ตามความฉลาดของโมเดลในแต่ละวัน ในทางกลับกัน จุดแข็งของ Claude คือเราไม่จำเป็นต้องมี procedure 1-2-3-4 ที่ชัดเจน แค่คิดว่าอยากได้อะไรแล้วพิมพ์บอก มันจึงเหมาะกับงานปลายเปิดที่ไม่ได้แน่นอนเท่างานที่เหมาะกับ n8n

MCP — ท่อหลังบ้านที่ทำให้ Claude Code คุยกับ n8n ได้

พลังจริง ๆ เกิดจากการที่ n8n กับ Claude คุยกันได้ผ่านสิ่งที่เรียกว่า MCP ค่ะ ถ้าเข้าไปดูใน Settings ของ n8n จะมีสิ่งที่เรียกว่า Instance-level MCP ซึ่งเปรียบเหมือนท่อหลังบ้านคล้าย ๆ API ที่เปิดให้ Claude Code เข้ามาอ่าน สร้าง หรือ modify workflow ใน n8n ของเราได้โดยตรง พอเชื่อมกันแล้ว เราก็แค่คุยกับน้อง Claude เป็นภาษาคนปกติ แล้วน้องจะไปเขียนโค้ด อัปเดต workflow และ validate ให้เราเสร็จสรรพ

ตัวอย่างงานจริง: สั่งแก้ workflow ด้วยการพิมพ์คุย

ในคลิปใช้ workflow ตัวอย่างที่ส่งโพสต์ (เช่นโพสต์โยคะ) มาให้ทุกวัน ปัญหาที่เจอมีหลายเรื่อง เช่น ข้อความที่ format มาไม่สวย ก็บอกน้องว่าช่วยจัดให้หน่อย, ตัวสุ่มโพสต์ที่เดิมใช้ random ใน Excel ก็ให้น้องเขียนโค้ดใหม่ให้, โพสต์ของแต่ละวันซ้ำกัน หรือกดรันสองรอบแล้วได้ผลไม่เหมือนกัน ก็ถามน้องว่ามีวิธีแก้ไหม น้องก็ไปคุยกับ n8n แล้วอัปเดต workflow ให้เลย

เคสที่ชอบที่สุดคือการดีบัก: ตั้งใจให้สร้าง 10 โพสต์ แต่ข้อความที่เข้ามาใน LINE จริง ๆ มีแค่ 4-5 โพสต์ เราแค่พิมพ์ว่า “โพสต์มันหายไป ช่วยดีบักหน่อย” น้อง Claude ก็ไปไล่ดูเองจนเจอว่าปัญหาอยู่ที่ node OpenAI Chat Model ที่ใช้อยู่เดิม แล้วเสนอวิธีแก้พร้อมรีวิวให้ พอสั่งว่า “ลอง test the workflow หน่อย” น้องก็ไปรันเทสต์ให้ โดยก่อนใช้คำสั่งอะไรน้องจะถามขออนุญาตเราเสมอว่าให้รันไหม เราแค่นั่งดูผลลัพธ์พร้อมจิบกาแฟจริง ๆ ค่ะ

สรุป: เลือกใช้เครื่องมือให้เหมาะกับงาน

แม้ปีนี้เราจะไม่ค่อยได้ยินคำว่า n8n กันแล้ว แต่ workflow ไหนที่ค่อนข้าง stabilized แล้ว ใช้ n8n รันก็ยังเวิร์คอยู่ แถมเป็น visual graphic ที่อย่างน้อยก็ดีกว่าใช้ Claude ทำออกมาแล้วมองไม่เห็นว่าเกิดอะไรขึ้นบ้าง เวลาจะแก้ก็งง ๆ ส่วน Claude Code คือผู้ช่วยคนสำคัญที่ทำให้ n8n ของเราทำงานได้ดีขึ้น หลายครั้งเครื่องมือที่เหมาะสมอาจเป็น n8n หลายครั้งอาจเป็น Claude — เลือกใช้ tool ให้เหมาะสมนะคะ

Now that Claude can do almost anything from a single prompt — especially Claude Cowork, where you do not even need to define a clear flow — many people wonder: is n8n dead? From a practitioner’s point of view, the answer is no. Better yet, once you connect the two, the combined power is enormous. (Summarized from a video on the Lin Davoy channel.)

n8n and Claude are good at different things

Claude comes in three modes — Chat, Cowork, and Code — while n8n is a flow-based automation tool. n8n’s advantage is that once your flow is built, every run produces the same result. It is far more reliable than a generative AI, whose output can wobble depending on how smart the model feels that day. Claude’s strength is the opposite: you do not need a precise 1-2-3-4 procedure or a fixed set of correct answers. Just describe what you want, which makes it perfect for open-ended work that is less deterministic than typical n8n jobs.

MCP — the pipe that lets Claude Code talk to n8n

The real magic is that n8n and Claude can talk to each other through MCP. In your n8n settings you will find an Instance-level MCP — think of it as a backend pipe, similar to an API, that lets Claude Code read, create, and modify the workflows in your n8n instance directly. Once connected, you simply chat with Claude in plain language, and it writes the code, updates the workflow, and even validates that everything works.

Real examples: fixing workflows by just typing

The demo workflow in the video sends a daily post (a yoga post, in this case). Several issues came up: the message formatting was ugly — just ask Claude to fix it. The post picker originally used a random function in Excel — ask Claude to rewrite it in code. Daily posts kept repeating, and running the flow twice gave different results — ask Claude if there is a fix, and it talks to n8n and updates the workflow for you.

The best case was debugging: the flow was supposed to generate 10 posts, but only 4-5 actually arrived in LINE. One sentence — “posts are missing, please debug” — and Claude traced the problem to the OpenAI Chat Model node, proposed a fix, and reviewed it. Ask it to “test the workflow” and it runs the test itself, always asking your permission before executing any command. You genuinely just watch the results roll in while sipping your coffee.

Verdict: pick the right tool for the job

Even if n8n is less hyped this year, stabilized workflows still run great on it — and the visual graph beats a Claude-built black box you cannot inspect when something breaks. Claude Code, meanwhile, is the assistant that makes your n8n work better. Sometimes the right tool is n8n, sometimes it is Claude. Choose wisely.
