เบื่อไหมคะกับการต้องนั่งทำรีพอร์ตเดิม ๆ ส่งทุกสิ้นเดือน? คลิปนี้ลินมาแชร์ประสบการณ์จริงของการ “ประกาศอิสรภาพ” จากงานรีพอร์ตรายเดือน ด้วยการให้ n8n ทำแทนทั้งหมด โดยมีน้อง Claude เป็นผู้ช่วยเขียนโค้ด ใช้เวลาเซ็ตระบบรวมกันแค่ประมาณ 3 ชั่วโมงเท่านั้น — เริ่มทำตอนสี่ทุ่มครึ่ง นอนเที่ยงคืน ตื่นเช้ามาทำต่ออีกนิดเดียวก็เสร็จค่ะ (สรุปจากคลิปของช่อง Lin Davoy)
ปัญหา: รีพอร์ตรายเดือนที่หนีไม่พ้น
จุดเริ่มต้นมาจากตอนไปสอน Power BI แล้วเจอ pain point ที่ได้ยินบ่อยมาก คือ “ต้องทำรีพอร์ตส่งทุกเดือน” เคสนี้มีโจทย์เพิ่มคือ ผู้รับอยากได้รีพอร์ตเป็นไฟล์ Excel ที่มี format เฉพาะของเขา อยากให้ส่งทางอีเมลพร้อมแนบไฟล์ และที่สำคัญคือผู้รับเป็นคนนอกองค์กร พอจะแชร์ผ่าน Power BI ก็ติดเรื่องสิทธิ์และ license ไปหมด เลยถือโอกาสลองท่าใหม่คือ n8n ค่ะ โชคดีที่ข้อมูลถูก clean ไว้ใน SQL อยู่แล้ว เป็น data ประมาณ 2,000 กว่าแถว มีทั้ง SKU เดือน channel และยอดขายในแต่ละ marketplace
Flow ทั้งหมดมีแค่ 4 ขั้น

เกร็ดเล็ก ๆ คือไฟล์ data ดิบจริง ๆ ใช้ node “Convert to File” แทน Code ก็ได้ แต่รอบนี้น้อง Claude แนะนำให้ใช้ Code ก็เลยแปะตามน้องไปค่ะ พอกด publish ปุ๊บ ระบบก็จะถูก trigger ทุกวันที่ 9 ของเดือน แล้วส่งอีเมลรีพอร์ตให้เองอัตโนมัติ ตราบใดที่ข้อมูลใน SQL อัปเดตอยู่ เราก็ไม่ต้องแตะงานนี้อีกเลย
น้อง Claude ช่วยอะไรบ้าง
งานนี้ใช้น้อง Claude เยอะมากค่ะ ปรึกษาตั้งแต่ต้นเลยว่า “ตอนนี้มี Schedule Trigger กับ SQL แล้ว ทำยังไงต่อดี” น้องก็วาด flow มาให้ทั้งเส้น บอกเป็นสเต็ปว่าโหนดไหนต้องตั้งค่าอะไร แล้วก็ช่วยเขียน JavaScript สำหรับจัด format Excel ให้ ซึ่งลินสารภาพตรงนี้เลยว่าเขียน JavaScript เองไม่เป็นค่ะ 🤣 ก็ใช้วิธีแปะโค้ดแล้วบอกน้องว่าอยากได้แบบไหน แก้ไปแก้มาประมาณ 6–7 รอบ จาก header ที่ format ไม่ตรงใจ จนได้ไฟล์ final ที่ใช้งานได้จริง ส่วนที่ไม่ได้ต่อ MCP ให้น้องแก้ n8n เองโดยตรง (เพราะ MCP ไปผูกกับ n8n อีกเครื่องหนึ่ง) ก็กลายเป็นข้อดีแฝง คือเราได้ copy-paste เองทีละจุด เท่ากับได้ตรวจงานน้องไปในตัวค่ะ

🇬🇧 Stop Building Monthly Reports — Let n8n Send Them for You (Set Up in 3 Hours)
Tired of producing the same report every month-end? In this video, Lin shares how she automated a recurring monthly report end-to-end with n8n, using Claude as her coding assistant — the whole setup took only about 3 hours (started at 11:30 pm, went to bed at midnight, and finished it the next morning). The problem: a monthly report you can’t escape
The trigger came from a Power BI training session, where one pain point kept coming up: “I have to send this report every month.” This case had extra constraints — the recipient wanted an Excel file in their own specific format, delivered by email with attachments, and they were outside the organization, so sharing through Power BI ran into licensing and access issues. Time to try a different route: n8n. Luckily the data was already cleaned in SQL — about 2,000+ rows with SKU, month, channel, and units sold per marketplace.
The entire flow is just 4 steps

Side note: the raw-data file could also be produced with the “Convert to File” node instead of Code, but Claude suggested Code this time, so that’s what shipped. Once published, the flow triggers itself on the 9th of every month and emails the report automatically — as long as the SQL data stays updated, this task is off your plate for good.
Where Claude helped
Claude was involved from the very first step — Lin described what she had (a Schedule Trigger and SQL) and Claude drew the whole flow, listed step-by-step which node needed which settings, and wrote the JavaScript that formats the Excel output. Lin openly admits she can’t write JavaScript herself — she just pasted the code, described what she wanted, and iterated with Claude about 6–7 rounds (mostly header formatting) until the final version worked. She didn’t connect Claude to n8n via MCP (her MCP was tied to another n8n instance), so every fix was copy-pasted by hand — which turned out to be a hidden benefit: you review the AI’s work at every step.
Honest review: pros vs trade-offs
