ตอนแรกของซีรีส์ Claude Cowork ค่ะ ก่อนจะไปลุยใช้งานจริง มาปูพื้นกันก่อนว่า Claude คืออะไร ต่างจาก ChatGPT กับ Gemini ยังไง แล้วทำไมโหมด Cowork ถึงเป็นตัวเปลี่ยนเกม (สรุปจากคลิปของช่อง Lin Davoy)

Claude คือใครในโลก AI

Claude เป็นโมเดล AI ของบริษัท Anthropic ค่ะ ถ้าเทียบให้เห็นภาพ ค่าย OpenAI มี ChatGPT ที่รันด้วยโมเดลตระกูล GPT ค่าย Google มี Gemini ทั้งรุ่น Flash และ Pro ส่วนค่าย Anthropic ก็มี Claude ที่รุ่นยอดนิยม ณ วันอัดคลิปคือตระกูล Sonnet และ Opus นอกจากนี้บริษัทเทคใหญ่ๆ ก็มีโมเดลของตัวเองกันหมด เช่น X ของ Elon Musk มี Grok และ Meta ก็มีโมเดลของตัวเองเช่นกัน ตัวเลขเวอร์ชั่นยิ่งใหม่ก็ยิ่งเก่งขึ้น และทุกค่ายอัปเดตกันตลอดค่ะ

LLM และ Generative AI แบบเข้าใจง่าย

โมเดลพวกนี้มีชื่อเต็มว่า Large Language Model (LLM) หรือโมเดลภาษาขนาดใหญ่ คือการเอาข้อมูลข้อความมหาศาลจากทั้งอินเทอร์เน็ตมาเทรนให้โมเดลเรียนรู้ว่าคำไหนมักมาคู่กับคำไหน ประโยคนี้มาแล้วประโยคต่อไปน่าจะเป็นอะไร LLM เป็นส่วนหนึ่งของ Generative AI (Gen AI) คือ AI ที่ “พ่น” อะไรบางอย่างออกมาได้ ทั้งข้อความ รูปภาพ เสียง เพลง วิดีโอ โดยโมเดลอย่าง Sonnet, Opus, GPT หรือ Gemini ตัวหลักๆ จะพ่นออกมาเป็นตัวอักษร ส่วนการสร้างรูปจะเป็นโมเดลแยก เช่น GPT Image ของ OpenAI หรือ Nano Banana ของ Google ค่ะ และจากยุคแรกที่รับได้แค่ข้อความ เดี๋ยวนี้น้องรับรูปภาพและไฟล์ได้ด้วย อัปโหลด Excel ให้ช่วยอ่านก็ได้เลย

3 โหมดใน Claude Desktop

Claude ใช้ได้ทั้งบนเว็บ claude.ai และแบบแอป Claude Desktop ที่ดาวน์โหลดมาลงเครื่อง ซึ่งความเก่งจริงๆ อยู่ที่ตัว Desktop ค่ะ เพราะด้านบนของแอปจะมี 3 โหมดให้เลือก คือ Chat, Cowork และ Code

จุดต่างสำคัญ: ถ้าใช้ Chat สั่งเขียนอีเมล งานจะจบอยู่ในแชท เราต้อง Copy ไปแปะใน Outlook เอง แต่ Cowork จะเปิด Outlook ขึ้นมาแล้วร่างอีเมลให้เสร็จเรียบร้อย เหลือแค่เรากดส่งอย่างเดียว (จริงๆ ให้น้องกดส่งเลยก็ได้ แต่ไม่ควรนะคะ ตรวจก่อนดีกว่า) ส่วน Cowork เองก็มี 2 ระดับ คือกับโปรแกรมยอดนิยมอย่าง Excel หรือ Outlook น้องถูกเทรนมาเยอะจึงแม่นมาก แต่กับโปรแกรมเฉพาะทางที่น้องไม่คุ้น น้องจะใช้วิธีแคปหน้าจอแล้วคิดว่าต้องกดตรงไหน แล้วค่อยๆ ทำตามที่เราสั่งไปเรื่อยๆ ช้ากว่าแต่ก็ไปต่อได้ค่ะ สัปดาห์ที่ผ่านมาลองจับ Cowork ทำงานแอดมินที่เอกสารเยอะมากๆ ต้องบอกว่าเอาอยู่สุดๆ เลยค่ะ

Claude Code กับคำว่า Vibe Coding

โหมดที่สามคือ Claude Code ให้น้องเขียนโค้ดให้ได้ เพราะโค้ดก็คือตัวอักษรแบบหนึ่ง LLM ที่พ่นตัวอักษรเก่งจึงพ่นโค้ดได้ด้วย จนเกิดคำว่า Vibe Coding คือการสร้างเว็บหรือโปรแกรมโดยให้ AI เขียนให้ทั้งหมด เราไม่ต้องเข้าใจภาษาโปรแกรมเลยก็ได้ แต่สำหรับมือใหม่ในซีรีส์นี้ ยังไม่ใช่ประเด็นหลักค่ะ

เรื่อง Limit และแพ็คเกจ — คุ้มไหมที่จะจ่าย

เรื่องที่คนใช้ Claude ทุกคนรู้จักดีคือ “ลิมิต” ค่ะ การรัน LLM ใช้ทรัพยากรประมวลผลเยอะมาก และ Anthropic ไม่ได้ทุนหนาเท่า OpenAI ที่มี Microsoft หนุน หรือ Google ที่มีเงินมหาศาล จึงมีการจำกัดการใช้งานเป็นรอบทุก 5 ชั่วโมง ซึ่งถ้าใช้จริงจังจะพบว่าหมดเร็วมาก ถึงขั้นมีเพื่อนที่ปรับเวลากินข้าวให้ตรงรอบลิมิตเลยทีเดียว ในมุมคนทำงานจริง ถ้าใช้ตลอดทั้งวันแพ็ค 100 ดอลลาร์ต่อเดือนแทบไม่เจอลิมิตเลย ทำงานต่อเนื่องได้สบาย แต่สำหรับงานทั่วไปที่ไม่ได้ใช้ตลอดเวลา แพ็ค 20 ดอลลาร์เอาอยู่ค่ะ อาจเหนื่อยหน่อยช่วงแรกตอน Process ยังไม่นิ่ง จะซื้อแพ็คใหญ่เฉพาะเดือนแรกที่ต้อง Set up เยอะๆ ก็เป็นทางเลือกที่ดีนะคะ

LLM ทำงานยังไง แล้วทำไม Cowork ถึงเก่ง

พื้นฐาน LLM มี 3 ขั้นค่ะ หนึ่ง Predict — ทำนายคำต่อไปด้วยความน่าจะเป็น เช่นพิมพ์ว่า “ฉันชอบกินไก่ทอด” คำต่อไปน่าจะเป็น “ข้าวเหนียว” หรือ “KFC” แล้วน้องก็ทอยลูกเต๋าเลือกพิมพ์ต่อไปเรื่อยๆ สอง Reasoning — จุดเปลี่ยนจากค่าย DeepSeek ที่ทำให้โมเดลทบทวนคำตอบตัวเองก่อนส่ง (ที่เราเห็นเป็น Thinking Mode ในหลายๆ ตัว) เช่นร่างคำตอบแล้วเอ๊ะ ข้าวมันไก่บางรักไม่ดังนี่ ที่ดังคือข้าวหน้าเป็ด แล้วแก้คำตอบเอง และสาม โมเดลสมัยใหม่ต่ออินเทอร์เน็ตหาข้อมูลเพิ่มได้ ส่วน Claude Cowork ทำงานต่อยอด (On top) จาก 3 ขั้นนี้อีกชั้น คือมีการวางแผนทำ To-do List ให้เห็นเลยว่า Step 1-2-3 จะทำอะไร แถมยังเสริมด้วย Skill และ Connector ได้อีก นี่คือเหตุผลที่ Cowork ทำงานจริงได้เก่งขนาดนี้ค่ะ

First episode of the Claude Cowork series: before diving into hands-on work, here is the foundation — what Claude is, how it compares to ChatGPT and Gemini, and why the Cowork mode is a game changer. Summarized from the Lin Davoy channel.

Where Claude fits in the AI landscape

Claude is the AI model family from Anthropic. For comparison: OpenAI has ChatGPT running on GPT models, Google has Gemini in Flash and Pro flavors, and Anthropic has Claude — with Sonnet and Opus as the popular models at recording time. Every big tech company now has its own model (X has Grok, Meta has its own too), and higher version numbers mean newer, constantly updated models.

LLMs and Generative AI in plain language

These are Large Language Models (LLMs): models trained on internet-scale text to learn which words tend to follow which. LLMs are one branch of Generative AI — AI that generates something, whether text, images, audio, music or video. The flagship chat models (Sonnet, Opus, GPT, Gemini) generate text; image generation uses separate models like GPT Image or Google’s Nano Banana. And where early ChatGPT accepted only text, today’s models take images and file uploads too — hand them an Excel file and they will read it.

The three modes in Claude Desktop

The key difference: ask Chat to write an email and the result stays in the chat for you to copy out. Cowork actually opens Outlook and drafts it in place, leaving only the send button to you (it could press send too, but you should review first). Cowork itself has two levels: with mainstream apps like Excel and Outlook it is very accurate because it was heavily trained on them; with niche or in-house software it works by taking screenshots, reasoning about where to click, and inching forward — slower, but it gets there. After a week of throwing document-heavy admin work at Cowork, the verdict: it absolutely holds up.

Limits and pricing — is it worth paying?

Every Claude user knows “the limit.” Running LLMs is computationally expensive, and Anthropic is not as deep-pocketed as Microsoft-backed OpenAI or Google, so usage is capped in 5-hour windows — and heavy users hit the cap fast (one friend literally rescheduled meals around the reset). From a practitioner’s view: the $100/month plan makes the limit almost invisible and supports working with Claude all day, while the $20 plan is enough for general, non-continuous use. A good trick is buying the bigger plan just for the first month while you are setting up processes.

How LLMs work — and why Cowork is strong

Three building blocks: (1) Prediction — the model predicts the next word probabilistically and rolls the dice as it types; (2) Reasoning — popularized by DeepSeek and now seen as “Thinking Mode” everywhere, the model reviews and corrects its own draft answer before responding; (3) Internet access — modern models can search for fresh information. Claude Cowork builds on top of all three by adding planning: watch it work and you will see it write its own to-do list (step 1, step 2, step 3), plus Skills and Connectors layered on — which is exactly why it handles real work so well.
